The League of Women Voters of Virginia is busily preparing for the upcoming Legislative Session. But that is not the only place to take action. Action can also be taken at the national and the local levels. For Virginia local Leagues, there are many opportunities to take action on local issues, the issues that affect your daily lives in many ways. The Internet is a great way to stay informed about national and state issues warranting action, but be sure to check with your local League to find out what issues in your local area call for “taking action”.
