Legislative Priorities.  Public Policy Positions.

LEGISLATIVE ACTION PRIORITIES FOR 2008

Action priorities (in alphabetical order) for League lobbying efforts were determined to be:

• Civil Rights
• Election Laws
• Environment
• Health Care
• Redistricting
• Transportation

Because the League has positions on many issues, other issues may be addressed as events warrant and opportunities arise. In addition the League will also work with several coalitions on issues of mutual concern where the League has a position.
