The League of Women Voters of Virginia (LWV-VA) was formed out of the suffrage movement on November 10, 1920. The League encourages informed and active participation in government  to increase understanding of major public policy issues and  to influence public policy through education and advocacy.

We are seeking individuals with a passion for voting rights and democracy. Past interns have researched legislation, created press releases and graphics and provided translation services. Our program will allow students to enrich their future career opportunities, explore different fields and serve others in need.

If you are a high school or college student and are interested in learning more about interning with the LWV-VA, email Ms. Erni Bridges.
